The terms and conditions are the legal agreement between you and Splash Coins. The full document is available from the link in the footer and is the version that applies in any dispute. This page is a plain English summary of the most important parts, written to make sure you know what you are agreeing to when you open an account and play. If anything on this page differs from the full document, the full document is the binding version. We update this summary whenever the full terms change in any way that is likely to affect your day to day experience on the site.
You must be of legal gambling age to open an account at Splash Coins. In most Canadian provinces the minimum age for gambling is nineteen years old. In Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec the minimum age is eighteen years old. You must also be resident in a country or province where our licence permits play, and you must be a real person opening a real account in your own name. Accounts opened on behalf of someone else, accounts shared between multiple people and accounts opened using false details are all in breach of the terms and will be closed when discovered. Any winnings on a closed account may be voided. We are committed to age verification and player identity checks as part of our responsible operation under Canadian gaming standards.
How do deposits and withdrawals work?
Deposits can be made using any of the payment methods listed in the cashier. All transactions are processed in Canadian dollars (CA$). The minimum deposit is CA$20 for most methods and the maximum varies by method and by your account history. Withdrawals are paid back to the same method used to deposit wherever possible, which is a standard anti money laundering requirement across the regulated gambling market. This payment routing rule ensures that funds cannot be moved through a gambling account to circumvent financial regulation. The first withdrawal request requires a one off identity verification, after which subsequent withdrawals are processed without further ID checks unless your account details change.
Withdrawal processing times vary by payment method. E-wallet withdrawals are typically processed within twenty four hours of verification being complete. Bank transfers may take three to five business days depending on your financial institution. We aim to process all withdrawal requests within one working day on our side, and any delays beyond that will be communicated to you proactively by the support team. If a withdrawal is declined for any reason, the funds are returned to your account balance immediately.
What are the bonus rules?
Every bonus offered by Splash Coins sits on the promotions page with its full terms attached, including the minimum deposit, the wagering requirement, the game contribution rates, the maximum bet during wagering and the expiry period. By opting in to a bonus you agree to the terms attached to that bonus. Common rules across most bonuses include a maximum bet of CA$6 per spin while wagering, a contribution of one hundred percent for slots and ten percent for table and live games, and a wagering period of thirty days from the moment the bonus is credited.
Bonus abuse is treated seriously. That includes things like using two accounts to claim the same welcome offer twice, deliberately playing low risk strategies to clear wagering or using a payment method that is not in your own name. Where bonus abuse is identified, the bonus and any winnings derived from the bonus will be removed, and your account may be closed. If you have questions about whether a particular playing style or strategy is permitted, the support team is happy to clarify before you proceed.
What are the account integrity rules?
Splash Coins operates on a one account per person basis. You may not hold more than one account, whether under the same name, the same email address, the same device, the same household address or the same payment method. If multiple accounts are detected, all accounts will be reviewed and may be closed. Any bonus winnings on the secondary accounts will be voided, and the review may result in action being taken against the primary account depending on what is found.
You are responsible for keeping your account login credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone, do not allow another person to play using your account and do not attempt to access another player's account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact the support team immediately so we can secure the account and investigate. We take account security seriously and have fraud monitoring in place around the clock to catch unusual activity as quickly as possible.
What happens if your account is inactive?
Accounts that are inactive for an extended period may be moved to a dormant status after twelve months of no login or transaction activity. Before any dormancy action is taken, we will send reminder communications to the email address on file, giving you the opportunity to log back in and keep the account active. Any real money balance in a dormant account is held safely and returned to you on request at any time. We will never deduct fees from a dormant account balance. To reactivate a dormant account, simply log in and verify your identity if required.
How are changes to the terms handled?
We may update the terms from time to time, for example when a new product launches, when our licensing arrangements change or when the Canadian regulatory environment is updated. Significant updates will be notified to you by email at least fourteen days before they take effect, giving you the option to close your account if you do not accept the new terms. You will also be prompted to review and accept any significant changes the next time you log in. Minor updates are published on this page and on the legal page and take effect immediately. If you continue to use the site after a change has taken effect, you are deemed to have accepted the new terms.
How are disputes resolved?
If you have a dispute with Splash Coins, the first step is to contact the support team through live chat or email. The support team resolves the majority of issues at the first contact. If the support team is unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you can escalate to the complaints team, who will review the case independently and respond within five working days. If you remain unsatisfied after exhausting our internal process, you may contact the relevant regulatory body or seek independent legal advice. Canadian players in Ontario may also refer a complaint to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) depending on the nature of the issue.
Who can open a Splash Coins account?
You must be of legal gambling age in your province — nineteen in most Canadian provinces, eighteen in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec — and resident in a country where our gaming licence permits play. You must be a real person opening a real account in your own name, with accurate personal details. One account per person is allowed. Multiple accounts opened by the same person, accounts opened on behalf of someone else and accounts opened using false details are all against the terms and will be closed when discovered. The full list of supported countries and provinces sits inside the terms document itself.
How does identity verification work?
The first withdrawal request triggers a one off identity verification. You will be asked to upload a copy of a government issued photo ID, a recent proof of address such as a utility bill or bank statement and, in some cases, a screenshot or photo of the payment method you used to deposit. The verification team reviews the documents within a working day and the withdrawal is processed as soon as verification is complete. Subsequent withdrawals do not require further ID checks unless your account details change. All documents submitted are stored securely and handled in accordance with PIPEDA and our privacy policy.
What are the standard bonus rules?
The standard rules across most bonuses are a thirty five times wagering requirement on the bonus amount, a thirty day clearing window from the moment the bonus is credited, a maximum bet of CA$6 per spin while wagering and a contribution rate of one hundred percent for slots, ten percent for table games and ten percent for live dealer games. Each individual bonus may add or vary these rules, and the full terms are published on the offer card before you opt in. Always read the bonus terms before accepting any offer.
Can Splash Coins change the terms?
Yes. The terms can be updated from time to time, for example when a new product launches or when the Canadian regulatory environment changes. Significant updates are notified to you by email at least fourteen days before they take effect, which gives you the option to close your account if you do not accept the new terms. Minor updates are published on this page and on the legal page and take effect immediately. If you continue to use the site after a change has taken effect, you are deemed to have accepted the new terms.
